About CLR3
Our products are technical and so are our customers. When a trading team evaluates NoLimitNodes, or a quant fund needs a custom datastore delivery, or a client engagement needs someone who can both talk and code, that is this role.
You will run technical evaluations and onboarding, answer the hard support questions, build integration examples and sample code, and feed what you learn back into the products. It suits an engineer who likes people as much as systems.
What you will do
- Guide prospects through technical evaluations and proofs of concept
- Onboard new customers onto streams, RPC and datasets, and stay their technical contact
- Write integration guides, sample code and honest comparison docs
- Answer escalated technical questions with real investigation, not templates
- Scope custom deliveries and enterprise setups with the engineering team
- Feed recurring friction back into product priorities
- Support consulting engagements when a customer-facing engineer is needed
What we are looking for
- A software engineering background; you can read, write and debug real code
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role, or clear evidence you would be good at one
- Strong writing; most of your output is words engineers will judge
- Comfort with APIs, websockets, gRPC and the debugging that comes with them
- Self-direction; this role is remote and you will run your own queue
Nice to have
- Familiarity with trading, market data or blockchain infrastructure
- Experience writing public docs or sample repositories
- Prior startup experience where you wore several hats
- Overlap with North American trading hours
Who you are
- You explain complicated things simply because you actually understand them
- You follow a problem to its root instead of pattern-matching a reply
- You enjoy the moment a customer's integration finally works
- You keep promises small and delivery certain
- You notice product problems before customers report them
How we hire
- 1Intro call, about 30 minutes
- 2Written exercise: explain a technical topic to two different audiences
- 3Technical conversation with an engineer
- 4Conversation with the founders
- 5Offer
